Yes, the Bravo Safe app needs to access your location to detect and record your trip accurately when paired with Bravo Tag. Location is used to locate your actual car location whenever you press the SOS button on Bravo Tag to provide you with emergency assistance. In the event of a severe accident, it is automatically triggered to our call centre via your mobile phone.
The app is designed to efficiently minimise battery consumption and uses very minimal data. It will only record trips once connected to your Bravo Tag.
With the Bravo Tag device activated and paired to your mobile phone, you can earn Bravo Safe Points for each of your completed trips. The Bravo Safe app uses location, speed, and motion to record your trips and determine a score for your Bravo Safe Points. The score is based on how safe you drive, how you handle corners, braking, and speeding, and how frequently you use your phone while driving.
The points can be used to redeem e-voucher(s) from any of the merchants listed in the Bravo Safe app at any time as long as the points are still valid. Current merchants include Touch ‘n Go and Petronas.
Bravo Tag is a wire-free and self-powered device that enables you to accumulate Bravo Safe points each time you drive safely, and provides automatic assistance in case of vehicle breakdown or emergency. Each time you drive, it automatically connects with the Bravo Safe mobile app via Bluetooth for Automatic Driver Recognition.
We provide one complimentary device for each of your insured cars. First-time delivery of the device will be shipped free of charge too. If the device is lost or damaged, a special replacement fee of RM90 applies.

When connected to the Bravo Safe mobile app, your location, speed, and motion are captured, in particular, how safely you drive, how you take your corners, brake, speed, and how frequently you use your phone while driving. These data will solely be used for the purpose of recording trips and determining your score for Bravo Safe Points.
The 1st to pair will record the mileage. Turn OFF Bluetooth for a few seconds if you wish for another phone to connect.
PRESS and HOLD the button on Bravo Tag for 2 sec to request FAST assistance to your actual location. The Bravo Tag will start beeping for 15 sec and will then transmit your location to the authorized Generali Roadside Assistance provider. Our operator will call you to assist. Press it again within 15 sec if you wish to cancel the roadside assistance request. Please access the link to the video guide.
We can detect severe crashes via the Bravo Safe app connected to Bravo Tag. If detected, the Bravo Tag will start beeping for 15 sec and will then transmit your accident details to the authorized Call Centre for fast assistance to your actual location. Our operator will call the actual driver to start the Emergency Process. Press the button within 15 sec to cancel the assistance request and to indicate that you are safe. In case of an accident, file the claim via the “Accident & Claims” page of the Bravo Safe app. Our Claim representative will contact you to assist with the claim and speed up the process.
Yes, you can invite drivers via the "Drivers" section of the app and they will receive an SMS with their respective login credentials. To activate the account, each invited driver will simply need to log in to the app with the provided login credentials, click “More” below “My Device” on the Homepage, accept all permissions, and establish a one-time connection with the Bravo Tag. From the app, they are also able to activate the privacy mode in order to disable visibility of location data to the main user. Each driver will be able to contribute to the collection of Bravo Safe points and benefit from road protection.
